DESCRIPTION:Managing ADHD in Edmonton: The Perspective of a Couple of Old Guys Who’ve Been Around Awhile\nDr. Paul Soper\, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Dr. Wikman\, Registered Psychologist will be speaking at the Parent Support meeting on Wednesday\, February 5th at 7 PM. No fee or registration required. \nObjectives:\n1. Discuss Strategies to access community supports\n2. Discuss strategies to access psychological supports\n3. Discuss strategies to access good medication management \nPresenters:\nDr. Paul Soper\, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist\nDr. Soper works at theTreatment Resistant ADHD Clinic\, Glenrose Hospital and is a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry. He is described as “empathetic\, caring\, extremely well educated and knowledgeable”. \nDr. Erik Wikman\, Registered Psychologist\nDr. Wikman specializes in treating a wide range of mental health issues. He has a private practice and also works at the Misericordia Community Hospital in the Behavior Clinic.
