There’s still time to register for Camp Abilities Programs for this summer! Does your child struggle with managing their emotions or making social connections? LD Edmonton’s Camp Abilities and Teen Camp Abilities programs are structured for kids ages 8-18** who are struggling with keeping friends and interacting with their peers. Participants will learn social skills in a safe setting in the morning and then practice what they have learned out in the community in the afternoon. Some families are able to obtain FSCD (Family Support for Children with Disabilities) funding for their child to attend camp depending on the determined needs of their child. Contact your FSCD worker to see if your child qualifies.
