Shanna Deasley is a Master’s student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Windsor. Her research is exploring young adults’ perceptions about their Facebook use and social well-being. Shanna is looking for young adults (18-25 years old) with and without ADHD who use their Facebook account at least once per week to participate in an online survey as part of her Master’s project.
Participation in this study is completely voluntary. If you choose to participate you can complete the survey online and it will take no more than 60 minutes of your time. All responses will be kept confidential and secure. At the end, you will receive a $5 gift certificate to Starbucks.
If you are interested in participating please send an email to email@example.com. You will then be provided with a link and password to the online survey. Once you access the study website, you may read more information about the study on the consent form and then you may decide whether or not you wish to participate in the study.
Your participation will help researchers learn more about young adults’ use of and motivations for using Facebook and how this is related to their social well-being. In learning more about these experiences, we may be able to better understand the online social functioning among young adults.
If you have any questions, concerns or requests please do not hesitate to email Shanna at firstname.lastname@example.org.
